Full Distance Media

Editorial standards

Last updated November 8, 2026

These standards apply to every Full Distance Media publication: Marathon Bucket List, Eatletes, Enduronomics and Endurance Bucket List.

Facts come from sources

We report what we can verify. Every fact in an article comes from a source we’ve checked, such as an official race site, a results database, a company announcement, a creator’s own video or a published news report, and we link to it. If something is reported by only one source, or can’t be confirmed, we either say so or leave it out.

Our own words

We write in our own words. We don’t copy other outlets’ articles, and when we quote someone we keep it short and credit them.

Covering real people

Many of our stories are about real athletes and creators. We stick to their public work and public statements, describe them fairly, and keep their private lives out of it. If you’re in one of our stories and think we got something wrong, email us and we’ll look at it promptly.

Bylines and tools

Articles are published under each publication’s staff byline. We use software tools, including AI, to help research and draft. Those tools don’t decide what’s true: every fact still has to trace back to a source we’ve opened and linked.

Independence

Advertisers and partners don’t review or approve our reporting. Sponsored content is labeled. See our affiliate disclosure for how we make money.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix it and add a note at the bottom of the article saying what changed and when. We don’t quietly rewrite mistakes.

To report an error, email hello@fulldistancemedia.com with “Correction” in the subject line, a link to the article and what’s wrong.
